										John Dowland (1562 - 1626), an English luthier and
										a composer, was one of the most prominent musicians
										of the Renaissance era. He is renowned for creating
										a style, which was to leave a lasting mark on the
										history and development of European music. It is
										recognized by its lyricism, progressive approach to
										performance techniques, its formal structure as well as
										popyphonics and the depth of expression. The aim of
										this publication of tabulature transcripts and guitar
										notations is to further acquaint guitarists with the rich
										legacy of John Dowland's work.
